As a fat, trans, non-binary theatre maker, Jeff provides a space where all those living in marginalized bodies can feel engaged and seen. But not simply towards the goal of revealing and presenting trauma, but also to revel in the joy of existing and thriving. Jeff is a strong proponent of joy in all things. Just as comedy needs to have a core of heart and pain to have a real impact, so does drama need a sense of joy, a sense of playfulness, a sensuality and a buoyancy. Jeff works to make space for that full range of human expression, to allow for laughter and tears, to embrace both the desperation and the ridiculousness of our existence on this planet.
